Coriander Pickle(Kottimera nillva pacchadi)

Hai friends today i am coming with Coriander pickle. We call this Kottimerea nilva pacchadi.I got this recipe from the TV.Last week i show this pickle the next day i tried this it came out perfect and very tasty. This we can store for 4 to 5 months. This we have to follow all the exact recipe then it turn out good.Ok lrts go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Coriander leaves-3 cups
Sesame oil-1 1/2 0r 2
Tamarind-1/2 cup
Chilli powder- 3/4  cup
Salt-2 tsp(Acc to ur taste)
Garlic-20 pods
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Jeera-1 tsp
Urad dal-1 tsp
Chana dal-1 tsp
Water - 1/3 cup

Method:

How to clean the Coriander

First take the coriander and cut the edges and clean the cariander with water.
After cleaning with water place the coriander in the colander and drain the water.
Place the coriander on the sunlight to drain the excess water.
After 30 minutes now the coriander is ready for the pickle.

How to prepare the pickle

Place one pan and heat it.
When it gets heat add the 1 cup oil and heat it.When it gets heat add the garlic and fry it.
After that add the coriander leaves and fry for 5 minutes.
By frying the coriander in the oil it takes the remaining water.(By doing this the pickle wont get spoil)
After 5 minutes now switch off the heat and keep it aside to cool the coriander.
Now take the tamarind in the pan add 1/3 cup water and make it boil.
Boil until the tamaring gets cooked well and water gets evapourated.
Make the tamarind to cool.
Now take the jar and first add the coriander mixture and blend it.(The jar should be dry)
Next add the tamarind and blend it again.
Now add the turmeric and vvery little salt.(We should not add all the items at once we have to add one by one)
Now blend it again to make fine paste take this on the dry bowl.To this paste we have to add the chilli powder and mix well.
Now we can check the taste and add the chilli powder and salt if it is not enough tatse.
Now place the another pan and heat it.
Now add the remaining oil and heat it.
Add the urad dal and chana dal and fry until it turns to light brown.
To this add the mustard seeds and fry it.When it starts to pop add the jeera.
Now add the coriander paste and fry for 2 minutes and mix well.
Off the heat and make it cool .
When it gets completely cool take this in to the clean and dry jar.
Serve this with rice, dosa or roti.
Hope u all like this recipe. Its really very tasty.
