This is my all time favourte chutney.Lets go to the recipe.
Ingredients:
Onions-3
Green chillies-5 or 6(Acc to ur taste)
Tamarind -Lemon size
Turmeric little pinch
Salt to taste
Oil-2 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chilli pieces few
Curry leaves few
Method:
First cut the onions into chunks and soak the tamarind..
Place the pan on the heat and add the oil.When the oil gets heat add the green chillies , onions. and turmeric.
Mix it well and fry this for 2 to 3 minutes and switch off the heat and make it cool.
When it is cool take the onions in the jar and blend to the smooth paste and keep it aside.
Now put tadka to the paste.
Place the another pan and heat it.When it gets heat add the mustard seeds and fry it.
When the mustard seeds starts to pop add the jeera,dry red chilli pieces and curry leaves.
To this add the grinded paste ,salt and mix well.
Finally add the tamarind juice and mix well.
Now serve hot with hot idly's.
