Majjiga Pulusu

Hai bloggers today i am coming with my favourite recipe Majjiga Pulusu. When the Curd is sour then we do this pulusu. If te cud is not so sour then my mom used the dried mangoes. This i made with urad dal vadiyalu.with this we can cook the curry also.During summer my mom weekly once she used to prepare this pulusu.because of the majjiga keeps the body cool for these you dont need more oil also.In some places for this pulusu they add the besan, pakodi like that they called it as Khadi.

Ingredients

curd-2 cups
vadiyalu-1 cup
dried mangoes-4
rice flour-2 tsp
dry red chillies-few
mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
jeera-1/2 tsp
curry leaves-few
oil-1 tsp
salt-acc to ur taste
Method:Place a pan on heat pour oil whe it is hot add the mustard seeds, jeera, red chillies, curry leaves the dry mangoes and the water.make it boil and cook untill the mangoes are well cooked.

Whisk the curd and add the rice flour to it.When the mangoes are cooked add this mixture to it.Now low the heat and add the vadiyaalu and water to it cook untill the vadiyaalu cooks.
When the vadiyaalu cooks turn off the heat and transfer all the contents to the serving bowl.Make it cool and then add the salt to it.Finally add the chopped coriander to it.

This goes nice with the rice and majjiga pirapakayalu.

Note:-Dont add the curd directly it may curdle.Add the rice flour to it so it will be like stew.
Dont add the salt when it is cooking.Add after it cools .
