Ingredients:
Toor dal-1 cup
finely chopped mangoes (sweetish sour)-1 cup
chopped ginger-1tsp(i forgot to show in the photo)
garlic-1 tsp(i forgot to show in the photo)
curry leaves-few
green chillies-5(Acc to our taste)
turmeric-pinch
mustard seeds-1 tsp
jeera-1tsp
dry red chillies-few
salt-acc to our taste
onions-1
oil-2 tsp
coriander leaves-few
Method:
First take the cooker and pressure cook the dal.In the mean time cut the mangoes.Peel the skin and cut into cubes.And also cut the onion into cubes.Place the pan pour 2 tsp of oil when it is heat add the garlic fry for 1 min add the mustard seeds when it starts splutter then add the jeera,red and green chillies,and also the curry leaves.After 1 minute then add the onions and turmeric fry until it changes the colour.
when the onions are cooked then add the mango pieces and add the water to cook for 5 minutes.when the mangoes cooked add the dal salt,chilli powder.
This goes nice with rice.
Note:-you can use mangoes acc to your taste.If the mangoes are too ripe use few pieces.
