Mysore Bonda

Hai friends today i am coming with mysore Bonda. Its one of the famous dish in Karnataka. And ofcourse famous in Andhra also. This i tasted in many functions in India but dont know how to prpeare.2 days back Hari Chandana posted in  her blog so check the recipe and its very simple so cant wait to try the recipe. It came out good.I  want to share with u guys.Lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Maida-1 cup
Rice flour-1/4 th cup
Green chilli pieces-2 or 3(acc to ur taste)
Chopped ginger-1/2 tsp
Curd to mix the batter
Salt to taste
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Baking soda-little pinch
Oil for deep frying

Method:

Take one deep bowl add the maida, rice flour, salt, jeera, green chillies, ginger baking soda and mix well.
To this add the yogurt and mix well. The batter should be like thick.Like we use in vadas. So that we can make like balls.
Now close the lid to the batterand  keep this aside for 1 hour.
After 1 hour we have mix well .
Place the oil and heat it.
Now when the oil gets heat take the batter and make balls and drop in the oil.
Fry this in medium hot.
When the bondas get golden brown take out from oil and serve hot with tomato or coconut chutney.

I am sending this to Charita blog Womensera she is conducting an event Appetizer Event.
